We had a great time performing alongside Tower Hamlets Youth Choir at our Spring Sing on 28th March! The concert featured songs by Ed Sheeran, Keane and Michael Jackson, songs from the musicals Chicago and Rent, and songs in Sesotho, Yiddish and Zulu… as well as a fantastic audience sing-along, and LOTS of cake!
A big thank you to everyone who donated money at the concert – we raised a total of £366! Thanks to match funding from Deutcshe Bank, we are delighted to be able to make a donation of £732 to the Glamis Adventure Playground who do amazing work with children and young people who live in and around Shadwell.
Tower Hamlets Youth Choir meets at Morpeth School 4-5.15pm on Fridays during term time, and is open to any secondary-school aged young people in the borough. You can contact us for more information about them if you know anyone who would be interested in joining!
